Coaching is a process that aims to improve performance and focuses on the present rather than on the distant past or future. Coaching seeks to unlock a person’s potential to maximize their own performance. It is helping them to learn rather than teaching them.
Whole Health (or Integrative Health) Coaches create dynamic partnerships with their clients to help them achieve wellness through sustainable healthy balance in all aspects (e.g. physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual, etc.) of their lives personally and beyond. We accomplish this through a psycho-spiritual approach that is educational but not directive, compassionate, and dynamic. Our approach is not psychotherapy or traditional counseling but for some such interventions compliment what we do.
We focus on the present and do not start with the assumption that you are broken or in need of fixing. We come alongside side you in your work of self-discovery, serving as a guide to help you develop self-awareness and emotional intelligence. We begin with You by asking “What matters to you?” vs. “What’s the matter with you?”
Regardless of what you decide to focus on, foundational to your success is:
- Identifying what matters to you and setting goals.
- Formulating a plan that maximizes your innate resources and personal skill set.
- Mentorship or guidance as appropriate.
- Accountability that is structured, encouraging, and supportive.
Our services are offered to individuals and those in relationships. We also have process groups and workshops. Our sessions are held via Zoom, a video platform similar to Skype. Zoom is easy to use on any device, is convenient to use anywhere and provides the client with both flexibility and confidentiality. On occasion when clients are unable to meet via Zoom exceptions can be made to meet by phone. Process groups and workshops are offered both in person and via Zoom.
